Get to Know Chef Valerie
I’ve spent over 15 years in the hospitality and culinary industry, graduating with a degree in Culinary Arts and specializing in pastry and dessert design. For over six years, I’ve crafted and delivered custom wedding cakes across Charlotte, working with couples to create show-stopping centerpiece desserts that taste as incredible as they look. My work has been enjoyed at venues such as The Big Chill, Carrigan Farms Quarry, The Duke Mansion, and The Mint Museum.
My experience spans from working in professional kitchens to teaching cooking classes, but my favorite moments are always when a client’s face lights up at the first bite. I believe desserts should be as beautiful as they are delicious — and made with intention, care, and high-quality ingredients.
